This property changes dramaticly way Navision sorts the code fields...
Dynamics® NAV (en,de) > Thursday, March-12-2009Using Outer/Inner Join SQL Views in Navision will enhance performance of the databaseUsing SQL Server option for Navision? "Sometimes" you have performance problems, haven't you? Dynamics® NAV (en,de) > Thursday, August-28-2008Export Navision Contact as a standard vCard for Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook etc...
Why should we do this is clear, I think. If you need your Navision Contact for Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes etc., this is the simpliest way to prepare the right form for such applications. Important thing - vCard can contain either single or multiple contact instances. So we are able to make a single vCard file containing all our contacts.
Dynamics® NAV (en,de) > Sunday, February-10-2008How-To use temporary table data on a subform? The task becomes challenging first when we?d like to show temporary data on forms, not only use them hidden within our code. Yes, there is a new powerful property available starting with NAV 5.00 version which fully satisfies our needs. However, not every customer is about to make a decision to upgrade his system to this version in a near future. (anyway, wild usage of this new property could be a bit dangerous, especially when developing in a team and using DELETEALL commands Dynamics® NAV (en,de) > Friday, February-08-2008Temporaere Tabellen in Navision SubForms - ganz einfachTemporäre Tabellen in Navision sind allen gut bekannt. Falls es also jemandem interessierte, bitte hier lesen. Dynamics® NAV (en,de) > Thursday, February-07-2008No more calculator for Navision RGB-color definitions!
Have you got such customers, too? Always talking about Gray Levels, LightGreen2, DimGrey, DodgerBlue, FireBrick, FloralWhite, ForestGreen , Fuchsia, etc., etc... To calculate them based on well known Navision RGB-formula all the time.. this could be a bit annoying and slower job...
Dynamics® CRM (en) > Thursday, September-06-2007Converting Country Field to ComboBox with JavaScriptPersonally I don't like the way how CRM stores the country information. It is a plain text field, so users can enter what they like, use abbreviations or the full name of a country, spell it lowercase or uppercase. Creating good reports based on text fields is much more complex than comparing against integer values, so a picklist holding the country would be more appropriate in a CRM form. Let's take the history view in an account form. It defaults to the "Last 30 days": (Source: Stunware CRM Blog Information) |
